Dr. Stella Nikolaou is a General Surgeon specializing in Colorectal Surgery.
She graduated from Imperial College London in the United Kingdom, where she also completed her PhD focusing on colorectal cancer.
She completed her specialty training in General Surgery in England (CCT) and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. She subsequently undertook subspecialty fellowships in robotic and laparoscopic surgery with a focus on colorectal cancer and anal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, as well as pelvic floor surgery.
Her fellowships were completed at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and St Mark’s Hospital in London, as well as at Concord Hospital in Sydney, Australia.
She has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and has served as an associate editor for the 4th edition of the Clinical Surgery textbook by Elsevier.
