Dr. Ioanna Papazachariou is an accomplished General Surgeon with a comprehensive educational background and extensive experience in various medical fields. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Aachen's Medical School in Germany in 1991.
Following this, she pursued postgraduate training in oncology at the University of Munich's Ludwig Maximilian and Technical University hospitals, where she actively participated in diagnosing and treating metastatic carcinomas.
Dr. Papazachariou continued her surgical training at the General Hospital of Nicosia and the Hippocratic General Hospital of Athens, specializing in general surgery and completing a doctoral thesis on colorectal cancer. She further advanced her expertise at the Imperial College of Science, Technology, and Medicine in London, focusing on gastrointestinal and hepatopancreatobiliary surgery
Dr. Papazachariou also specialized in breast surgery at the Hippocratic Hospital of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2009.
