New MRI Unit 

Within the context of continuously providing integrated medical and hospital services, Aretaeio Hospital announces the decision for developing a new M.R.I. Unit.

The installation of the selected machine is planned to be through in mid December 2008, aiming to increase Aretaeio’s efficiency and patients’ access and convenience to specialised services.

The selected machine combines a larger bore, or opening, for obese and/or claustrophobic patients, with the ability to capture high-field quality diagnostic images and potentially reduce the need to repeat and interrupt exams.
